Safelift SP50 — stockpicking mast lift with integrated picking table, 5 metre working height

The SP50 is the stockpicking Safelift. Same 5-metre platform as the MA/PA series, paired with an adjacent height-adjustable picking table that travels with the operator. Picks-per-hour roughly double versus a stepladder. The fastest payback profile in any mast-lift application.

What this configuration is for

Warehouse stockpicking from racks above 2 metres. Retail back-of-store stockpicking. Operations doing 30+ picks per hour above 2 m where stepladder-based picking is the current method.

What it is not for

General facility maintenance (use MA50/PA50). Outdoor or mixed indoor-outdoor work.

Doorway, elevator, and floor compatibility

The Safelift SP50 stowed footprint is 0.63 × 0.59 m, which passes through 800 mm rough-opening doorways with 740 mm clear width after door hardware. The unit fits standard 1.0 m wide goods elevators. Floor loading on rubber castors does not exceed standard atrium / commercial building floor specifications.

How it compares to alternatives in the 2–6 metre band

For the working-height tier this Safelift SP50 occupies, the buyer's choice is typically between three options: this Safelift configuration, a comparable scissor lift, or a one-person mobile tower. The technical comparison is in Pillar lift, scissor lift, or ladder for indoor work at height.

The decision usually comes down to (a) reposition frequency during the work and (b) doorway / elevator constraints in the facility. Mast lifts win when both factors weigh against scissor lifts.
